Refund Policy

At TYRELL LLC, we take pride in delivering thoughtful, bespoke interior design services that are carefully tailored to meet the unique vision and needs of each client. Because our work is highly personalized and involves a combination of creative labor, planning, and third-party coordination, our refund policy is structured to ensure fairness, transparency, and mutual respect.
Please review the following terms and conditions that govern refund eligibility, limitations, and expectations for all TYRELL LLC services and products. By engaging with our services, you agree to this Refund Policy in its entirety.
1. General Overview
TYRELL LLC offers a range of services, including but not limited to:
- Residential Interior Design
- Commercial Design Services
- Color Consultations
- Space Planning & Renovation Consulting
- Furniture & Decor Sourcing
- 3D Visualization & Mood Boards
Refund eligibility varies depending on the type of service purchased, the progress of the project, and any associated third-party costs.
2. Non-Refundable Services
The following services are non-refundable once initiated or delivered, due to the nature of the time, expertise, and creative effort involved:
a. Initial Design Consultations
All initial consultations (virtual or in-person) are final and non-refundable. These sessions involve time, expertise, and strategy, regardless of whether the client proceeds with a full design engagement.
b. Customized Design Work
Designs, mood boards, concept drawings, and 3D visualizations created specifically for a client are non-refundable once submitted or presented.
c. Time-Based Services
Billable hours spent on communication, research, sourcing, layout design, coordination with vendors, or site visits are considered services rendered and are not eligible for refund.
3. Refundable Items (Under Limited Conditions)
While most of our services are personalized and therefore non-refundable, some scenarios may be eligible for partial or full refunds:
a. Unused Design Hours (Prepaid Packages Only)
If a client purchases a block of design hours in advance and chooses to discontinue services before any work has begun, they may be eligible for a refund of the unused portion (minus a 10% administrative fee). This does not apply to hours already worked or scheduled.
b. Prepaid Services Not Yet Scheduled
If a client prepays for a consultation, design package, or mood board and cancels the service at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled date, a full refund may be issued.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the appointment may be subject to a 25% cancellation fee, depending on the time already reserved for your project.
c. Vendor-Sourced Products
If TYRELL LLC purchases furniture, fixtures, or décor items on behalf of a client, the refund policy of the supplier or vendor applies. TYRELL LLC will assist with the return process when possible but cannot guarantee refunds for third-party items.
Note: Most furniture vendors charge restocking and shipping fees. Custom or made-to-order items are generally non-refundable.
4. Deposit Policy
A non-refundable deposit is often required to initiate projects. This deposit:
- Secures your place in our project calendar
- Covers initial administrative and planning efforts
- Reflects our commitment to reserving design resources for your project
Unless otherwise stated in writing, all deposits are non-refundable once payment is made and work has begun (including research, scheduling, or sourcing).
5. Project Cancellation by Client
Clients who choose to cancel a project in progress may be eligible for a partial refund, based on the following:
- Work Completed: Any work already completed will be billed at the agreed hourly rate or package breakdown.
- Non-Refundable Items: Custom work, consultations, sourcing, or mood boards already delivered will not be refunded.
- Third-Party Commitments: If we have already placed orders or made payments to vendors on your behalf, those amounts are non-refundable unless the vendor offers a return policy.
- Remaining Balance: After deducting fees for completed services and third-party costs, any remaining prepaid balance may be refunded, minus a 10% administrative fee.
Clients must submit cancellations in writing to info@tyrelldesign.com to be eligible for a refund assessment.
6. Project Cancellation by TYRELL LLC
TYRELL LLC reserves the right to cancel a project due to:
- Non-payment or repeated late payment
- Client misconduct or harassment
- Unreasonable expectations or demands
- Irreconcilable creative differences
In such cases, we will deliver all completed work and offer a partial refund for any unused portion of prepaid services, minus applicable administrative and work-completion fees.
7. Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved:
- It will be processed using the original payment method.
- Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your account.
- TYRELL LLC is not responsible for bank or credit card processing delays.
8. Changes to Project Scope
If a client requests substantial changes to a project after the original scope and pricing have been agreed upon, additional charges will apply. These changes do not entitle the client to a refund of the original fees.
For example, switching the design direction, expanding square footage, or requesting an entirely new concept may require a new agreement or an amended invoice.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
We aim to exceed expectations and believe in open, ongoing communication throughout the design process. However, we cannot offer refunds based solely on subjective dissatisfaction with a completed design, especially if it aligns with previously approved concepts, color palettes, or layouts.
To avoid disappointment:
- Please share preferences, dislikes, and deal-breakers early.
- Respond promptly to design drafts and mockups.
- Use mood boards or Pinterest to help guide our creative direction.
We encourage honest and frequent feedback to ensure a result that reflects your vision.
10. Force Majeure
TYRELL LLC is not liable for delays, disruptions, or inability to deliver services caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Illness or injury
- Supply chain disruptions
- Labor shortages
- Acts of government or third parties
In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or deliver remaining services at a later time, but refunds may not be available.
11. Digital Products and Downloads
Occasionally, TYRELL LLC may offer design templates, guides, or digital products for download. These are non-refundable due to their immediate accessibility and the inability to revoke delivery.
